MESSAGE REVIEW

The Body of Christ has individual anointing but the “full measure” of Christ is not expressed till we have reached unity in our faith. Once everyone grows up in Christ Himself and perfect our faith, then we would be able to function in the full anointing. The only way we can operate in the measure that Jesus did is when we are unified people. That is why the enemy is trying to cause fierce division in the world, especially amongst the body of Christ. There are bondages that will not break until there is unity without offense in the collective. There is sickness that will not be healed until there is full unity. 

 

LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!

  • Read Psalms 133:1-2 Whenever God wants to send a move on earth, He will send it to the head. In this passage it explains the oil starts at the head of Aaron and runs down his head, down the beard, and hitting the hem of his garment. When the oil reaches the edge of the garment it has to be the same in purity. God will start with your leader and then it will roll down to you. What part do we have in the rolling of the oil? What are some things that can hinder the oil? 
  • Read Exodus 18:19-26 Moses’ father-in-law advised him to teach the people and bring their problems to God and instruct them. Moses was also to select leaders (captains) that would help care for the people some in 10’s, 50’s, 100’s and 1000’s. There were 4 layers between Moses and the people. The anointing of Moses had to touch the nation of Israel, but he could not touch them individually. Moses then put his spirit among the leaders. Do you know how many you are called to care for (shepherd) ? 
  • Read John 10:1-5 Pastor is a voice that you know is called to speak into your life and help you manage your life, another word for it is shepherd. The sheep will hear the voice of their shepherd and will catch his spirit. When you sit under the anointing of your shepherd it will come to you also. Captains must sound and move like the shepherd because when there is the voice of a stranger, the sheep will not follow. If sheep are restless it is not their issue but must be addressed with their shepherd. Do you know the voice of your shepherd? Do you honor and respect the leaders that God has placed in your life?

 

PRAYER FOCUS & REQUESTS

Ask your members if they have any prayer requests or praise reports. Pray for one another to search your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to highlight anything you may have in your heart that will affect the flow of oil.
