MESSAGE REVIEW
Everything that God wants to birth in your life starts with a seed. We have to put the work in first to get that seed aka God’s word. People expect great things but don’t make great investments. When God gives us a word our hearts need to be ready for the harvest. The only way for us to receive a harvest is if we meditate on the word day and night. When we read the word it first goes to our head and when we meditate on it, it goes into our spirit. Evaluate your heart so when you receive God’s word it will be planted in good soil.
LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
- Read Mark 4:2-9. What was your first impression when you heard about Christ? If you weren’t open to the word at first, what helped to soften your heart?
- Read Mark 4:13-20. When you open the word, you’re giving the potential of heaven to be on earth. How can you prepare your heart to be good soil? How would heaven on earth look like in your daily life?
- Don’t just read the Bible, meditate on it. By meditating on the word, you are making it travel to your spirit. What do you think of when you hear the word “meditation”? What is the verse you go to when you need an increase in your faith?
PRAYER FOCUS & REQUESTS
Ask your group if they have any prayer requests or praise reports. This week pray for those people that need to start meditating on the word. Pray that the Lord gives them more revelation as they read the word and can meditate on his seed day and night.
